The Cat Cabinet celebrated their 25 year of existence in 2015. For that occasion this special came out with the help of Midas Dekker, Johannes Schwartz and Annelies Verbeke among others. The book is written in Dutch and English and tells the story of the owner and founder Bob Meijer, but also about the collection itself and of course his beloved cat John Pierpont.

Voor het 25-jarige bestaan van Het Kattenkabinet is in 2015 de special ”Het opperwezen – 25 jaar Kattenkabinet Amsterdam” uitgebracht met een bijdrage van onder anderen Midas Dekker, Johannes Schwartz en Annelies Verbeke. Dit tweetalige boek – Nederlands en Engels – biedt veel achtergrond verhalen over Bob Meijer die het museum stichtte, maar ook over de collectie zelf en natuurlijk zijn geliefde kater John Pierpont Morgan.
